Kauai Agriculture Development Program (KADP)

The Agricultural Development Program (ADP) is funded from an initiative by Senator Daniel Inouye that began in 2004.  Garden Island Resource Conservation & Development, Inc (GIRC&D) is the on-island community-based non-profit organization that administers the Kauai ADP funds.

The objective of this program is to support community-based and community-driven projects that promote agricultural development on the Island of Kauai.  The funding provided for this program works to sustain soil and water conservation objectives and enrich the resource capabilities of local farmers, ranchers and land owners.
